Hungarian World Airways

Hungary’s Civil Society is reported to be attracting funds for a new Hungarian carrier. The airline is planned to be operational within 2013. The proposed name of the airline is Hungarian World Airways.

Golden Myanmar Airlines

A new carrier is planning to launch operations out of Mandalay International Airport in early 2013. So far the route structure and fleet remain undisclosed.

Aerolineas Del Peru

It is rumored that the Government of Peru is preparing a feasibility study to launch a low cost airline that will be partially funded by private investors. The aircraft under consideration are A319 and Q400.

Bicol Air Express

A new regional airline will start flying domestic routes in Philippines on the 8th of March this year. The fleet consists of a LET 410, a BN-2 Islander and a Fokker 50.

Eaglexpress Air Charter

A new Malaysian airline is in the process of obtaining their AOC. They will concentrate in passenger and cargo charter flights with three B747-400 aircraft. The equipment are ex Malaysian Airlines.

Syphax Airlines

Syphax Airlines is a Tunisian start-up carrier that will commence operations in May 2012. It will operate two A319 aircraft. The initial route structure will consist of regional destinations. Its home base is the Sfax Thyna International airport

Sky Cruise

Sky Cruise is a Turks and Caicos start-up that is awaiting approval from the local CAA in order to operate regional services with DHC6, and CRJ 200

Volotea

A new airline named Volotea and based in Mallorca took delivery of an ex Mexicana 717. It is believed that the airline will eventually add at least three more 717s in the fleet. Their primary focus will be sub-chartering and ACMI business

Odyssey Airlines

A new carrier is aiming to link London City Airport and NY with Bombardier CSeries aircraft. It is believes that the airline will start its operations during 2014. Sources indicate that aircraft orders have already been placed with Bombardier.

Wow Air

The new Icelandic LCC will take to the skies in June 2012. It will operate between Keflavik and major European destinations with A320s.
